Luxury real estate always takes more height in New York

Luxury real estate continues to grow in New York. The height of buildings is a criterion of research among buyers.

In the last three years, taller and more luxurious skyscrapers have sprung up in New York. One Manhattan Square is a 258-meter building, 277 Fifth Avenue is 202 meters away, The Central is 245 meters away, and 130 William is 244 meters away. But it is especially the services they offer that impress the most. Thus, in One Manhattan Square, four floors are devoted to community facilities. Locals can find a spa with a swimming pool, a basketball court, a golf simulator, a movie theater or a dog run. 277 Fifth Avenue offers a fitness room, a library, a bar ... At the Centrale, the owners will enjoy a swimming pool and a gym. 130 William has a rooftop terrace with private cabanas and barbecues, several pools, a movie theater and a golf simulator.

But what is particularly surprising is the presence of dining rooms. "In this city where we rarely get home, it was for example quite logical that these new constructions include private dining rooms equipped for starred chefs," says Christophe Bourreau, director of Barnes New York. "Which is infinitely more personalized than a restaurant". For Christophe Bourreau, "owning an apartment in one of the skyscrapers represents the assurance of living New York differently, benefiting from a level of services that even palaces do not offer".

Investors are increasing their spending in the office and apartment sectors after making strong gains in retail trade last year. So, they are investing more capital in the New York or Boston area according to Real Capital's report.
